Wings of Hope: An Evening with Mission Aviation Fellowship UK at the Air League of Monaco

Tonight, 17 June 2026, The Air League of Monaco had the pleasure of welcoming Mission Aviation Fellowship UK at the Stelios Foundation Conference Hall Monaco, where members learned more about its vital humanitarian work across some of the world’s most remote regions.

MAF is a humanitarian aviation charity operating across Africa, the Asia-Pacific region and South America, transporting doctors, aid workers, medicines, and essential supplies to communities that are otherwise difficult to reach. Its mission is to bring hope where access is limited, by improving living conditions and expanding access to healthcare and education.

Our guest speaker, Ed Burrows, is based in Liberia. Drawing on 15 years of experience as a Royal Air Force pilot, he shared his story of transitioning into humanitarian aviation, alongside moving stories from his work in the field and the realities of operating in challenging environments.

His testimony was a powerful reminder of the impact that aviation can have when it is used in service of others, connecting isolated communities to care, support, and opportunity.
