We are excited to remind you of an upcoming event during November at the Stelios Foundation Conference Hall in Monaco (14 Quai Antoine 1er, Monaco, 98000) that promises to be inspiring and engaging.
Friday 8 November 2024, 6.30pm drinks, 7pm dinner, 8pm speeches with Judy Leden, a renowned British hang glider and paraglider who made history in 1989 as the first woman to fly over the English Channel from a hot air balloon at 13,000 feet.
Charity Auction and Advance Biding:
This evening will also feature a charity auction in aid of the Air League of Monaco. The auction lot has a market value of £3,000, with starting bids at €500.

Experience History: Fly a Tandem Spitfire Over England and the Channel
A flight in a tandem Spitfire at Goodwood will be auctioned, gifted to Air League of Monaco by Ms Cathy Foyle. This experience will see you flying one of the Spitfire TR9’s, SM520 or BS410, built 1944 and 1943 respectively and both converted to the Vickers two-seat variant during the modern restoration, around the local area and over the English Channel. Along the route, you’ll enjoy the sight of the Spitfire’s famous elliptical wing as you pass over England’s green and pleasant land. You will also have the opportunity to touch the controls and to fly the aircraft yourself. The ‘bubble’ rear canopy offers excellent all-around visibility for guests.

There is a friendly reminder for those who have not yet paid: the 2024 fees are now overdue. The annual fees remain unchanged at €150 per adult and €50 for junior members (born 2005 or later). We encourage you to make your payment via bank transfer to the IBAN provided below, ensuring you include the full first and last name of the member in the payment reference.
The suggested donation to the Air League of Monaco is 40 euro per person attending the dinner payable by bank transfer in advance.
