Tonight, 12 March 2026, the The Air League of Monaco held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Stelios Foundation Conference Hall Monaco.
During the meeting, members voted on the resolutions for the year 2026, elected the association’s Executive Committee, and discussed membership terms.
Following the AGM, members and guests had the pleasure of listening to an inspiring talk by Emma Henderson MBE FRAeS, an airline pilot widely known for founding the initiative Project Wingman. During the challenging period of COVID-19, Emma and her dedicated team volunteered in hospitals, serving “empathy and tea” while wearing airline uniforms. The initiative brought together volunteers from across the aviation industry to support NHS staff and help them cope with the crisis. In recognition of this remarkable work, she was awarded an MBE.
Emma also highlighted the vital role aviation plays as a driver of the global economy, not only enabling travel and tourism, but also connecting and supporting communities that are otherwise difficult to access in many regions of the world.
A big thank you to everyone who attended the event, as well as to Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, Patron and President of the Air League of Monaco, and to our guest speaker Emma for contributing to the success of this year’s AGM. ✈️
