Today, the Air League of Monaco (ALM) hosted a special dinner at the Stelios Foundation Conference Hall Monaco featuring guest speaker Captain Jim Pegram, Director of Safety, Security & Compliance at easyJet.
Captain Pegram delivered a very interesting presentation on the evolution of aviation safety, tracing its journey from early mechanical reliability to today’s Total System Safety approach. He highlighted key developments across decades, including human factors, safety management systems, and predictive technologies, while underlining the vital role of international cooperation through organizations like ICAO.
