Our purpose is three-fold:
- To promote air-mindedness in the young by reaching out to young people, from all backgrounds, within or leaving schools, colleges and universities in Monaco and the Alpes Maritimes, to help them to start a career in aviation by offering scholarships and awards to assist in flying lessons and aeronautical engineering apprenticeships. In addition, we will be looking at creating schemes to help disabled persons learn to fly.
- To provide and support aviation and aerospace generally and their companies specifically, in Monaco and its immediately surrounding areas in France and Italy.
- Help and support the Air League in the UK. Donors can finance a scholarship or bursary, either directly to the Air League UK, or, if they prefer, via the Air League Monaco, from as little as £500 per annum, and have it named after the donor. The donor is invited to the annual reception at St James’s Palace hosted by HRH Prince Philip the Duke of Edinburgh.
